Overview:Cars That Float is a photography series set against the soft collapse of the city, looking for traces of a future we were promised but never quite reached.

For as long as we have imagined tomorrow, we have filled it with invention: flying cars, frictionless cities, perfect machines, cleaner lives. These visions moved through books, films, architecture, technology, and advertising, shaping a shared idea of what the future was supposed to look like.

But the real future arrived more quietly, and with more rust. The hoverboards never came. The cars stayed on the ground. The utopias remained unfinished. In their place, Cars That Float finds beauty in the gap between expectation and reality, where old dreams, broken surfaces, and everyday streets begin to look strangely futuristic again.
